What is the PMTHPP?

After passing through the Francis turbine, the water enters a draft tube, expanding in diameter. With a smaller cross-sectional area, these nozzles significantly accelerate the water into high-pressure jets, maximizing the impact force on the Pelton turbine buckets and harnessing the full gravitational potential of the water before it returns to the lower reservoir.
